St Patrick

We had only at home activities planned today. We ate green pancakes for breakfast, the girls liked them.
We went for a walk.
On our walk the girls enjoyed seeing some inspirational rocks that someone painted and put around the walk around our neighborhood ponds. They wanted to take them home, instead we told them they could paint the seashells we got at the beach when our walk was completed. That sounded fun to them and we were able to walk, stop at the playground and get home to paint without incident.
While the girls “napped” Jenna and I watched a movie. By watched I mean we sat together and she watched it while I napped;)
Tonight Grace and Lincoln had class.  Nana had her back surgery today. It was successful and hopefully her recovery will go smoothly. Tomorrow Rob is going to Ohio to spend some time with her while she recovers

WDW

Of course no trip to Mimi’s house in Florida is complete without a disney day!
We went to the Magic Kingdom today and it was a good day! The girls loved Its A Small World, the merry go round and Aladdin’s carpet. The thought the tiki room was scary, the jungle cruise was a little scary and Ruby refused to go on Pirates. Coco went and said she liked it. I think they both liked Peter Pan.

Jenna and Grace also rode Haunted Mansion and Mine Train while the girls were konked out in their stroller.

Wild Florida

Today we went to Wild Floirda. I had never been but we'd wanted to. It was super super fun! The park is really pretty and shady and the animal habitats let you see the animals up close.
The girls loved the sloths, Jenna had told them all about seeing the sloth's in Costa Rica and they were super excited to see them.  They loved running around and were excited about all the things.
They had a really nice playground too and I was surprised how agile and strong the girls are.  They are little monkeys!
After we enjoyed the park Rob, Jenna, Emma, Rob and Tori went on an airboat ride.  They all said it was amazing!
We didn't know if the girls would like it or be scared so I stayed with them and we did the drive thru safari part of the park.  They loved that too.  They didn't have to stay in their seats and they loved seeing all the big animals and they loved bouncing around the car.

They had a cute little petting zoo which was fun.  They had newborn goats that were adorable!!

Missionary moment

Ethan reports continued mission success, shenanigans and spiritual growth.

Patrick AFB

Grace had a clarinet lesson this morning and then the DiAmico’s took some of the girls to the beach. They stopped for dinner after and had a sun filled fun day!

Emma’s birthday

We went to church today, of course. The girls didn’t want me to take their pictures but they did look adorable in their strawberry dresses!
After church we went home and began making pies. It’s pi day, and it’s Emm’s birthday. I can’t believe Jenna and Emma were only two years older than Ruby and Cora are now when they became best friends and now here we are 23 years later and we are still blessed with their friendship and happy times together.
After all the pie making we played with chalk, played in the tee pee Liberty gave us, colored, played outside, and swam. The girls are precious, precocious, loud, sweet, smart, funny, and good natured. It’s been so fun these last couple of days!

Jenna and Clayton are doing an amazing job raising them.

Pi day was a success! I think key lime was the winner but they were all delicious!

St Pete’s beach

Our plan for the day was beaching. The traffic was bad so it took longer than we wanted to get there but we made it an had such a glorious day!
The girls were so cute and brave. Ruby carried around a little bucket and found lots of shells. She liked the big ones the best!

Coco was a little more hesitant at first but she warned up and enjoyed the water too. They loved climbing on the rocks and digging in the sand.

We brought bubbles and buckets and plastic animals to play with.

Also we managed to keep the girls from getting sunburnt. Not an easy feat because they are very fair!
We had good chats there and back and everyone loved the day!!
