NYE

We took Ez to Gatorland. He loved the gators! 

This boy loves a good splash pad!

 They had a big gingerbread scene set up. It was funny. My favorite was the gingerbread outhouse!

In the evening we met Tom and Diana and Keke at the playground. We were supposed to get together with them tomorrow but Jess is sick and Aunt Diana wanted to meet Ezra so we spent a little time playing together. Makayla was so sweet to Ezra.

I chaperoned the dance tonight for the youth. Always a good time.

Also some good news: Sierra had surgery on her thumb yesterday and is doing great with her recovery. She’ll start PT next week and hopefully will get movement back in that thumb!

Wild Thing

Hannah and I took Ezra to the mall. She needed to get Sawyer’s watch fixed at Fossil. We had fun looking at all the shops. 

Ezzie loves to run around. He loves to run everywhere! He’s such a cute boy and so full of laughter and enthusiasm and curiosity.

We went to a dessert bar. We got the special and Ez ate most of it! 

After his nap we dressed him up like Max, from “Where the Wild Things Are” and took a walk to the park. He is rambunctious and dives head first into all fun things!

Engagement!!!

Chris and Sierra got engaged last night! We are all so excited for them!! Yay!!

They have been through so much and have been there for each other through the good and the bad. I think they will have a happy marriage and am looking forward to seeing them build a wonderful life together. 

 

DS and Zoo lights

Today we went to Disney Springs. They have a cute splash pad there too and Ezzie ran around and around.  We were going to have lunch but the truck had a malfunction and Rob needed to take it to the shop and I had to pick him up.

It worked out though. Ez got a nap and then when he got up we went to the Central Florida Zoo for the Chinese lantern display. It was 10/10 so fun and beautiful!

Ezra doesn’t walk he runs. He charges everywhere. He loved the lights and the bubbles.

Throw back from yesterday. I’m happy this boy likes me. He lets me hold him and laughs with me!

This morning we played in my room. I miss the toys and cartoon days! Happy to be back there for a week.

Back to the airport we went to pick up our Hannahkin and cute little Ezra! We’ve been looking forward to their visit. Sawyer has to work, we were bummed he couldn’t come but as always try to appreciate and love the time we have with the people we are with and look forward to the time when we can all be together. 

This is one busy boy. I have a feeling he’ll keep us on our toes! Han had a pretty miserable flight:(

He is so very cute though and laughs easily and is all boy! We love him!!

There is nothing sweeter than a freshly bathed baby!

Counting down

 

Yesterday was Sierra’s birthday. She requested cheesecake and got a present and two singings  of Happy Birthday! I asked R to take a picture and this is what he got…so, yep. 

I sure love my Christmas baby. We had a nice visit and I am so grateful for her!

Today we went to church. We had a special musical sacrament meeting. Grace and Rob both participated, I would have but I’m not at all musical so there is that.

We played lots of games, ate a nice meal and then took Chris and Sierra to the airport. Their flight had a 3 hour delay:(  Travel has been crazy this week with the new delta variant. 

I hope they make it out. 

Hannah and Ezra are flying tomorrow. I hope 🙏🏼  that they don’t have any issues. 

Penny got an amazing kid phone watch thing that lets her or call 10 people. I made the cut and it’s been so fun to chat with her!
