We had our Bishop’s Youth Discussion at the Blacks home tonight. It was a really nice one.
Charlotte had volunteered her dad to tell Christmas stories and he really picked some beautiful ones to share. Between each short story we had a musical number.
Mostly the youth did the numbers, although we did invite the elders to join us and to sing a song to us.
Grace and Lettie played a duet. All of the songs were so sweet. The Blacks also got Santa hats for everyone to wear, which was fun!
After we had a hot chocolate bar and lots of really tasty Christmas cookies! I made orange cranberry sugar cookies and Christmas Krispie treats. Kristina made darling Mickey cake balls. Ann did hot chocolate cookies and another cookie and Nicole did the favorite chocolate chip.
It was a special evening.
