When we were here two months ago Val and Ryan introduced us to a card game called Skull King.
We played it quite a few times and then…
One evening we thought it would be fun to dress up like pirates and play.
The next day Val and I said “we should eat pirate food!” (Obviously)
Soon after that we realized that pirate games would be just the thing to keep the kids busy.
And so we invited the family. Made a treasure hunt, a plank to walk and filled up water cannons!
Everyone came and we played and ate and sang happy birthday to mom (and Kelly and Ethan who were not there)
We listened to sea shanties, and had fake tattoos and everyone had a lot of fun.
We did not play Skull King though until almost midnight when everyone had left. (Lol)
