This week

 

The days of this week have been uneventful. We did laundry and read and Rob worked. Grace hung out with friends and played the clarinet. I checked in with Utah and it seems like things there are moving along. Sierra is getting better. Not as quickly as she’d like though.  Dani is taking care of her and never complains but it’s not easy. 

Dani got news that she was accepted into the program she wanted and will start on the fall!! That’s super exciting news. 

Tatum and Greg went to a fishing derby and Tate won by catching the biggest fish! She won a bike and a Mr Rogers poster. The bike was too small for her so she gave it to Marshall. The kids have been going to art camp.

Spikey Joe, one of the Johnson’s chickens started to cock a doodle doo. Turns out they have 3 chickens and a rooster. He can’t stay (against city ordinances) but I guess it’s harder to get rid of a rooster than you’d think.

Ezra sent out his birthday party invitations! I can’t believe he is almost one!!

Last night we went with Jon and Jen on their boat. It was a lot of fun as we toured around the chain of lakes enjoying the evening. 

Today was our youth beach party. We went to Wilbur by the Sea, which is one of my favorite beaches. We had a great turn out including a few parents and everyone had a really nice day. Rob came with me so I didn’t have to drive and we got to spend some fun beach time together too!
