Ezra’s birthday (almost)

Poor Ez continues to sleep terribly here at the cabin. He sleeps great at home and is happy and content. Here he has been a little grouchy and a terrible sleeper. We still love him! (Although everyone is a bit tired)

Today Hannah and Sawyer and Nana and Abba and UB all went to Rexburg to pick up party food. The rest of us went to West Yellowstone and had a fun time shopping, eating at a Mexican food bus and having huckleberry ice cream.
Early this morning Greg, Clayton and Marshall went to Yellowstone and they saw a grizzly lumbering along! Pretty exciting!
We took some family pictures and Hannah and Sawyer invited a few friends over for a birthday party for Ezra. It was cute. We had a bear hunt and a piñata, he ate cake and we had BBQ for dinner.
After the party we played Settlers and some people did a “polar bear plunge” into some pretty cold water! It was cooler today than it had been and it rained for awhile so the air and water were both pretty cool.

Penny told the story of “The Three Bears” before the kids went on a bear hunt. She did a great job and they listened very attentively.
