Monday night date

Rob is not a disney goer.  He doesn't like the prices, crowds or heat.  That being said at the beginning of the year I bought him a Florida 3 day pass.  We went once with Val and Ryan to MK and had a super fun time, once to Epcot and had fun, and we had planned to go to Hollywood to ride the new Star Wars rides.  

Then Covid.  

Then summer heat. 

Finally we were on the last day of his pass and I managed to get reservations for Hollywood Studios.  The parks aren't doing fast passes and aren't too crowded, or so I thought.  We wanted to ride two rides and I figured it would be easy to get them both in after work.  

So we got there at 4 and went to the Star Wars section,  which was really cool.  We enjoyed looking around at everything and quickly got onto Smugglers Run, which was a fun ride.  Then we went to Rise of the Resistance and it was booked for the whole rest of the night.  What??  And they were doing fast passes so that one park is apparently totally differnet than the others.  We were both disappointed and Rob was grumpy.  

So, that was our night.  We rode Slinky Dog and then left the park, got burgers on the way home and he went fishing and I went to bed.  

That didn't go quite as I had hoped.
