Last day

Tomorrow Ethan flies to Provo and will start college next week. I am excited for him. It’s an exciting, dynamic, stressful, fun, growing time in life. I am sure he will make good friends, learn lots, figure out what he wants to be, and enjoy living close to family.

We had to be out of the house for several showings, so there was that.

He went to the doctor to X-ray his hand. It’s healing but not healed.

We went to Bahama Breeze for lunch.

And here we are.

Have a baby boy ✔️
Raise him✔️
Watch him play soccer ✔️
Read to him ✔️
Sit outside in the hot and the cold for many games✔️
Go to chess meets, swim meets, science fairs, pack meetings, and soccer tournaments. ✔️
Drive him to school, seminary, orthodontist appointments, friends houses, practice, camp outs, and random other places. ✔️
Send him to preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, science camp, scout camp, soccer camp, high school, and on a mission. ✔️
Teach him to walk, use the potty, read, swim, cook, make a bed, do his homework, clean up his messes, help others, brush his teeth, and iron his shirts. ✔️
Watch in awe as the years fly by, and the little boy grows into a full grown man. ✔️
Put him on a plane with instructions to call every day…and then sit back and cry a little, and feel proud a lot, and ….?? That’s a check for another day.
