After dinner Rob and I went to Jeremiah’s. Grace was at band. Yesterday he took her to the doctor. This year, with me teaching, he has had to go to more doctor appointments than he’s been to in the last 24 years. Partly this is because Grace goes to more doctor appointments than all the other kids combined, and partly because I can’t take off. Every week it’s something new with that girl. She’s been suffering from an itchy rash, and also she’s been throwing up after eating. So off they went. Now we are adding allergist and GI to our future schedule, and a psych evaluation, for some therapy. Which I think will be helpful. She needs to get some tools to help her deal with chronic pain and health issues.

This week has been interesting at work. We had a lockdown (someone (allegedly) brought a weapon on campus). We had a day of visiting drug dogs and K9 officers. (Surprise they found some + a bonus find of ammo casings).
Last night, for mutual, we had our traditional conference challenge. Nicole brought an awesome snack table and I brought the questions and the youth won! It was really fun. Noisy and competitive and so much fun!
