We flew to Utah. Our flight was good, we had the usual preflight stresses but we made it on time and the flight made it safely. Once we were here it off to the races. When we come to Utah there is always so much to do, so many people to see, it’s always a whirlwind.
Our first stop was Cafe Rio. Then we had wedding errands to do on the way to Spanish. Finally we got to Dani’s.
Everyone went to Nana and Abba’s hotel to swim. It was so fun watching the little kids jump in and play in the water!
Maddie had her bridal shower that evening so all the women went. It was a lot of fun. The games were so funny to watch and participate in! It was just nice.
Before swimming we squeezed in time for mani/pedis.
At 9pm, after all that, we went over to the church to decorate and get as much set up as we could. Chris’ family came too. Chris has a lot of really good friends. Many of them can to help as well. It was really great to see them all weekend, they were so helpful and made the whole wedding weekend go by so smoothly. Any stress I had quickly went away as I realized they were going to pitch in and do the work that was there…without even being asked.
Eventually we went to bed:)
