misadventure

Our intention today was to go tubing.  I looked up Kelly Springs online and it was open.  We drove over and it turned out that nope, it was closed.  We were not the only ones to make that mistake.  Lots of disappointed cars loads of people were there.  

Grace was grumpy and wanted to head home.  We took a vote and decided to try another spring.  I called Blue Springs to see if they were open, they said yes.  I also asked if they were busy and they said no.  So we headed over.  Grace grumped the whole way.  I turned on Taylor Swift and tried to ignore her. 

When we got there the park was at capacity :(.  We were sad.  At this point we decided to head back home and swim in our own pool.  We stopped at Menchie's and then came home and had a fun swim.  Even Grace joined us.

The rest of our afternoon was very pleasant.  We swam, made enchiladas and home made guacamole for dinner, watched TV, cleaned up, played games, read together and then went to bed "early" (10PM) so we could get up early for Disney tomorrow.
