Halloween

I spent a long time studying, Sierra and Clayton both worked and Jenna took the girls to DS. She also took baby Darcy to the ER. She has an ear infection but hopefully the medication will work quickly and she will feel better soon.

When they got home they went swimming. 

Clayton grew up with Justin Relitz who is in our ward. Small world. So we invited their family over for dinner and then the kids went trick or treating. Sierra and I stayed home and gave out candy and played qwurkle.

Grace and her friends got ready here and then went to keenes point to trick or treat and have a party at Katie’s.
 

Dinner in a Pumpkin

We had the Thacker’s over for a spooky dinner.

I made chili in a pumpkin, jello “candy corn”, and a veggie tray. Diana & Jess brought mummy hot dogs and ghost kabobs. We both made pies. 

It was a lot of fun. Everything was good and the kids ran around playing. 

Today was a very busy day for me. I got up early to go get Sierra from the airport! I’m excited she’s going to be here this week. When we got home she went to bed, she took the red eye and it was night for her. I did dinner prep, and made pies, studied and did a little tidying. 

Then I went to ward council, came home to pick up the family, went to church, went to BYC, came home and we all got ready for dinner.

After the Thacker’s left we cleaned up and then I had to finish my ethics class for the week. 

Finally everything is done. Also Bub called and I got to chat just a little but not as long as I wanted. Luckily he will be home in 3 days!

 

Saturday

Shopping, cleaning, cooking.

Swimming, ward party, fireworks. 

It was another fun day!

Sea World

 We went to Sea World today! Between Grace and I we had enough free passes that we all got in! I was happy about that! Also just happy to go!

It was not too hot.

It was surprisingly not crowded.

They had their Halloween spooktacular, I had never been before and it was really cute. Their Halloween decorations were really cute. The kids all got to trick or treat which the girls loved. 

We saw the orca show and fed the sting rays. Clayton Jenna Grace and Blake separated to go ride roller coasters.

The girls and I went to Sesame Street and played. They rode the merry go round 5 times in a row, they also rode the flower pot bucket, and the spinning bird nests, and the train. We watched the parade and ate dippin dots.

It was really fun. I do love going to Sea World.  The girls are so funny and Darcy is so sweet💕

I’m enjoying having Jenna and Clayton here a lot too. Several times Clayton has said something to us and we have answered the same exact words in unison. It’s been fun to see how alike we are. As a mom it’s nice to see my daughters growing up to be somewhat like me. 

Southern Hills Farm

We went to the pumpkin patch today and it was an awesome one!

You had to pay to go but then they had tons of stuff to do that you didn’t have to pay separately for. They had carnival rides, a maze, a hay ride, flower gardens, a petting zoo, and yummy food for sale.

 The big girls had tons of fun and ran around like crazy ladies!

Darcy was an angel, of course. It was not crowded, which made it so nice. 

When we got home the girls went swimming, then we watched the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and ate dinner. 

We end the night with stories, one of my favorite times. 

After they go to bed I do school work for a couple hours. I have also been getting up early and doing school for a few hours before I join the family for the day. It’s been kind of crazy squeezing everything in but so far so good!

Trunk or Treat

We went to Port Orleans Resort today for their beignets. The girls played on the playground too. 

The Hamlin ward had their trunk or treat tonight so we crashed. A lot of the trunks were super cute and people had fun costumes. The girls loved it!

Darcy was Snow White

Universal

Jenna and Clayton went to Universal Studios today. They had a very fun day and enjoyed all the roller coasters. The girls and I stayed home and also had a very fun day. 

Cutest little study buddy. 

We played with toys and did puzzles and baked cookies and read stories.

Darcy is such a good baby. She is easy and cheerful. 

I’m sure I’m not biased but the girls are so cute and smart and funny. It was a good day.
