Yesterday Maya went to the temple for her own endowment. I was so honored to be invited to go. The session was actually completely full. Maya had her parents and 7 guests and then the rest of the room was filled with missionaries. It was a really special session. I love the temple and the guidance and direction and peace I feel there. It was wonderful to be in the celestial room after and to hug our friends and talk about the blessings of the gospel.
Last night was band senior night. It was so great. After four years of watching other seniors and their parents it was our turn. There was a lot of excitement in the air and it was really fun to celebrate with Grace and her friends, and her friends parents, who are my friends. During the game I sat with the Dawsons, the Gaineys, Kristina and Ivana. I love the camaraderie that bands together parents, and the gospel. We all go to church together and we all watch football together (or basketball in the season).
We “watched” the game and chatted about the changes in the new for the strength of youth pamphlet, and the hurricane, and the kids.
