We had a family and friend filled weekend, which is a first and so welcome!
Friday night we got invited to a cookie bake off. It was four families and we went to the Gooch’s and ate cookies. It was also Pepe’s bday. He lives in the same neighborhood so we walked over with a plate of cookies and sang to him. We all enjoyed it!
Saturday night Rob and I went out to dinner with 3 other couples. Also a very fun time. We went to an Italian family run restaurant and dinner took 2 hours but the conversation never lagged and we were all happy to see each other again and to catch up.
Today Tom and Diana, plus Jess, Isaiah and Keke came over. We barbecued and swam. They brought a graduation cake (so so thoughtful) and cards for Ethan. We had a birthday present for Makayla who turns 2 this week. It was also very very fun and nice to spend time together.
