Every place we live, and every season of life we pass through, has its up side.
Florida is beautiful. After dinner tonight Rob asked if I wanted to swim. Normally I don’t (usually I only want to go swimming with the kids) but I didn’t bring work home (for a change) and dinner was easy (left over salad) so I said yes. We swam and then sat on the lanai and listened to the sounds of evening as the sky grew dark. It was peaceful and nice.
It’ll be super weird when it’s just the two of us, we have never had that as I brought my own ready made family when we got married. The only one kid at home stage is already so strange; and she’s always busy. I can’t imagine.
