We drove out to Tybee Island this morning, it’s about 30 minutes from Savannah. It was really cute. The first thing we did was visit the island lighthouse and old battlement museum. The lighthouse was 179 steps tall and they were steep. The view at the top was worth it though.

We enjoyed some beach time, where unfortunately Rob applied his sunscreen unskillfully.
We went to dinner at a place called the Shell House that served an obscene amount of shrimp which I could not finish and delicious peach cobbler.

It’s been a fun weekend, rainy on and off, summery and relaxing.
